The World Federation of Right to Die Societies Releases October Newsletter

The World Federation Right to Die Societies has released their October newsletter outlining global developments for Voluntary Assisted Dying, including Queensland's successful Parliamentary debate last month.

In other global news, the newsletter covers Scotland's community consultation on Voluntary Assisted Dying and Ireland's establishment of a special committee to investigate law reform. The Senate of California, USA, has also passed a Bill allowing for greater access to Voluntary Assisted Dying.

Advocacy efforts were also covered in the newsletter, including a lack of Australian territory rights to Voluntary Assisted Dying, the British Medical Association rescinding its opposition to VAD in favour of neutrality, and a poll indicating majority support for VAD in Britain.
