Face-to-face support for aged care services

A new My Aged Care face-to-face service is now available to help older Australians access the government-funded aged care services they need.

From Monday 1 November 2021, Aged Care Specialist Officers will provide in-person support at selected Services Australia Service Centres.

The service is initially launching at 16 locations, with plans to rollout to 80 locations by December 2022. This includes 10 Aged Care Specialist Officers to provide outreach support to older Australians in rural and regional areas.

The face-to-face service provides an additional access point to My Aged Care, complementing the existing website and contact centre.

Staff in all Services Australia Service Centres will also be able to help you with general aged care services support when the rollout is complete."
